I offer a range of surgical and endoscopic services, which I have listed below. I undertake operations laparoscopically (keyhole) where appropriate. Laparoscopic surgery generally results in less post operative pain, shorter hospital stay and a faster return to normal function following your operation. For patients undergoing major abdominal surgery, I use the principles of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS). This encourages patients to start mobilising as well as eating and drinking sooner after their operation. It has been shown to decrease the length of hospital stay as well as achieving a faster return to normal function.
